Starting in early spring 2019, bushfires burnt large swathes of NSW and north eastern Victoria finally being extinguished in March 2020.

Fires threatened Lithgow directly in the 3rd week of December. In late December the Bell's Line of oad from Bilpin to Clarence was subjected to severe fires. This truck was a victim.

This area is steeped in history, both pre and post 1813.

Part of a group of Australia's oldest European buildings.

Nice looking building but... The Dharug people could have been treated better. The owner was a key part of Australia's only Militsry Coup.

According to the literature, the area was inhabited by the Burramatta tribe of the Dharug people.
